A field experiment was carried out at the Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, CCS HAU, Hisar, during the kharif seasons of 2023 and 2024 to investigate the effects of sewage sludge, FYM, and nitrogen levels on fodder sorghum performance. The experiment was conducted using a split plot design, with sewage sludge (2.5 and 5 t/ha) and FYM (2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 t/ha) as the main factors. In subplots, four nitrogen levels were used (control, 50%, 75%, and 100% RDN) with thrice replication for statistical accuracy. Results from both years (2023 and 2024) showed that the application of sewage sludge at 5 t/ha produced taller plants, greater dry matter accumulation, and higher fodder yield (465.8 and 472.6 q/ha), along with improved quality (HCN and crude protein), compared to the 2.5 t/ha application level. Among FYM levels, significantly taller plant, higher dry matter accumulation, fodder yield (468.4 and 475.7 q/ha), HCN and crude protein were found with the application of FYM at 7.5 t/ha over 5 and 2.5 t/ha FYM levels. Among nitrogen levels, application of 100% RDN were found significantly higher crop parameters viz. plant height, dry matter accumulation, fodder yield (499.3 and 506.4 q/ha), HCN and crude protein over lower levels and control. With the application of 100% RDN, HCN content was increased by 12.78 and 21.90%, while crude protein increased by 9.80 and 9.30% during 2023 and 2024, respectively over the control. Integrated application of 5 t/ha sewage sludge, 7.5 t/ha FYM, and 100% RDN ensures optimal crop performance.
