Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during the summer season of 2014 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha to study the ef- fect of tillage and weed management on weed biomass and productivity of summer maize (Zea mays L.). The ex- periment comprised of 3 tillage methods, viz. conventional tillage, minimum tillage and zero tillage, and 6 different types of weed management practices, viz. atrazine 1.25 kg/ha pre-emergence, 2,4-D 0.5 kg/ha (post-emergence),
