A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Binjhagiri, Chhatabar, Siksha “O” Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar during summer 2023, to study the impact of different nutrient management practices under the influence of soil microbes in summer greengram. Application of 50% RDF + FYM@2t/ha + Rhizobium inoculation of seed@200g/10kg recorded significantly higher plant stand/m2 32.3 and 30.96 at 15 DAS and harvest, respectively. The bacterial (7.28 log CFU/ml) and actinomycetes population (6.90 log CFU/ml) was significantly higher under application of 50% RDF + FYM@2t/ha + Rhizobium inoculation of seed@200g/10kg. Fungal population was significantly higher with application of Azotobacter@5kg/ha + FYM@4t/ha. In terms of seed yield application of 50% RDF + FYM@2t/ha + Rhizobium inoculation of seed@200g/10kg recorded highest seed yields. The same treatment also recorded highest net return (Rs.42331/ha) and B:C ratio of 2.31%.
