Abstract
An experiment was conducted during 1988-89 and 1989-90 at Jorhat, to study tIlc cllcg( of2 seed hardening (normal and hardened seed with 1%KH2P0,, soaking for 18 hr), 4 levcls ol1~1i1s~jlllll 30, (I). 60 and 90 kg K20/ha) and application o f paraquat as anti-transpirant at 4 dillercnl gr(\\y[(l q[i\ges (control, tillering, boot-leaf and tillering + boot-leaft)on rainfed Sonalika wheat (fii/icrrrrl f f i q ~ ~ y ~ ( ~ r f L. emend.
