Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Binjhagiri, Chhatabar of  Siksha “O” Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) during summer season of 2023, to study the nutrient management through organic and inorganic sources of nutrition in summer greengram. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block      design replicated thrice with 10 treatments. The experimental results revealed that integrated application of 50% RDF + FYM@ 2t/ha + Rhizobium inoculation @200g/10kg of seed recorded significantly higher N 3.68%, P 0.30% & K 2.11% content of seed. The same treatment recorded significantly higher nutrient uptake in both seed & stover. It also recorded higher seed and stover yield. In case of economics with 50 % RDF + FYM @ 2 t/ha + Rhizobium inoculation @ 200 g /10 kg seed recorded highest gross monetary return (Rs.74625/ha), net monetary return (Rs.42331/ha) and B:C ratio of 2.31.
